On 1 March 2012 Google implemented its new privacy policy which allows it to track the web history of any user who holds an account with Google, and use the information to tailor advertisements and other products to your online behaviour. Drew explains how to stop Google tracking you.

What is Google tracking?
As you can imagine, your web history can reveal a lot about you based on the sites you visit and the search terms you look for online. The new privacy policy update allows Google to record your history and use it to show you more relevant advertisements and recommended videos on all of their different platforms over the web.

    Isn't that what FaceBook are constantly doing?
    And making their millions out of it??!
    Deselecting the 'Keep me logged on' there helps but it goes back every time you log in.
    It's all so full of 'sinister trickery'.
    BTW, I'm an IT Luddite! :-(
