Google is constantly updating their features, and to no surprise, they have upgraded their Google Maps, again. This time, they have implemented a feature that is extremely helpful to those looking to buy property, but not so helpful to their revenue streams with two of their largest google advertising keyword buyers being Realestate.com.au and Domain.com.au.
Google began sourcing listings from real estate aggregators this month and opened up the service to allow real estate agents to list their properties free on Google Maps and I was extremely surprised to find how many houses had been listed when I checked today, hundreds in the area I was looking at!
To get started on searching for real estate, visit the Google Maps.
Once you are there, enter the suburb, state and country as per the following example: Chadstone Victoria Australia. Now follow step 1 and 2 as per the image to our right.
Once you have followed those two steps, hit Search Maps and you will be presented with all the property’s for sale and lease in your selected area, further more on the left hand side panel you will find a easy to scroll through list of the property’s with prices, locations and photos!
