I recently changed my service provider from Vodafone to Telstra and the biggest issue I had was remembering how to open up the sim card tray. A simple YouTube search found this simple video describing the process in detail, so I had my sim card tray open in a matter of seconds.
Please note that if like me, you no longer have access to your iPhone sim card key as described in this video, a paper clip is your next best option for opening the sim card tray.
