You don’t have to pay big money for photo editing software. These two websites let you edit your photos for free online, without having to download any software.

Pixlr Editor
The Pixlr Editor is an easy-to-use website. With a simple layout, clearly marked controls and great graphics, this website makes editing your images simple. You just upload your photo, make your changes, and save the new, edited image back to your computer. This service is free for anyone to use, and you don’t have to download any software to start editing.

FotoFlexer
In its own words, FotoFlexer is the most advanced online image editor, and we haven’t found anything with which to challenge that statement. Although it is not as user-friendly as the Pixlr Editor, FotoFlexer does offer you far more options when it comes to advanced image editing, and once again the website is free to use and does not require a software download.

I have used Picasa for over 8 years and love it. I have many complicated editors but Picasa is so easy and you can do so much with it. Resize, crop, and lots of great features.

Yeh, for years now I have been using " Irfanview " which is easy and versatile. It allows you to write on photos, make larger or smaller, add in other bits and remove bits etc, etc. Also a free download.

OK, can somebody recommend a program that will allow me to realistically to put an ugly monkey's face on a beautiful lady. Or an even a bigger challenge, to put an honest persons face on a politician.

Take the time to learn how to use it and GIMP will do it easily.

Okay, have scanned all family photos, have in folders most named by date and tagged in my pics in Windows 7. Want a free editing program (please no picasa - I have disability and need something extremely simple). What I need it to do - brighten old black and white photos, retouch some, crop, red eye and straighten, sharpen etc. Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks Belinda
