You get what you pay for when it comes to apps and this no-frills budgeting app created by MoneySmart provides a simple app to track your spending. Simply enter your budget for the week and input your expenses daily to track your progress.

A simple to understand app that allows you to track your spending with the goal of keeping within your budget. The standard setup gives you almost every category you require, with additional categories added at the click of a button. Advanced settings allow you to graph your spending by category.

HomeBudget with Sync
iPhone, iPad, Android
The cream of the crop, HomeBudget is the luxury full-feature budgeting app on the market. With features such as bill reminders, recurring transaction tracking, multiple accounts and the ability to sync budgets with other family members, the asking price seems well justified.
Cost: $5.75

The TrackMySpend app is a nice entry point budgeting app for those wishing to give it a go while HomeBudget with Sync is a must purchase for anyone serious about keeping their budget while on the run.
