Locking iPhone orientation

There is nothing more frustrating for smartphone users than when the phone switches orientation from portrait to landscape without reason. Drew explains how to lock your phone to portrait in less than two minutes.

It is important to note that if you want to watch videos in your phone, you will need to unlock your orientation before they will work.

How to lock the iPhone orientation
Double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar.

Swipe left to the final icons (if you go too far there will be a volume bar, go back one swipe) which include the play/pause and skip buttons.

The icon on the left is a circular arrow. Press the button to enable orientation locking. Repeat this process to unlock orientation in the future.

Hi Drew - I am fearing that I am getting left behind with technology. I still have a "normal" desktop computer, and a mobile that just makes phone calls and receives them (it may actually do more but that is all I do)
I would appreciate you doing some online courses about the new technology to see whether I need to update my skills.
    Thank you -
