Dick Smith sells a basic senior-friendly unlocked mobile phone for $99. ‘Ezy-Key’ uses a Nokia battery, has very large buttons, loud ring-tones for those who need it and a built-in torch.
There is also an SOS button on the back which operates a loud emergency alarm. This can also have up to five family phone numbers programmed into it, aside from the normal phone book contact numbers.
