Oh and "quick-fix" -  instead of "dumping" the 200 million dollars worth of drugs that Border Patrol reportedly seize every week - how about they re-sell it on the streets for double/triple the money???  Hahahahaaaaa - gotcha - sorry!   :-)

Nah! they'll just put more tax on all the stuff that makes life bearable for the pensioners, low wage earners etc .... alcohol, cigs, sugar treats and all the other 'cancer causing' crap that they say is bad for us and which the hoi polois will continue to consume because they can afford them ( they don't want these things banned, cos then they'd have to go without them too )

Australia isn't poor. Just look at the houses and cars people own. The stupid government is poor becasue John Howard used massive income tax cuts, especially for the rich, to buy votes. Anyone earning over $80,000 p.a. could pay more tax without their lifestyle really suffering. 

Sadly though, neither the Libs not Labor has the electoral courage to reverse those tax cuts.
