Hand towels

Hubby is always out in the garden and uses hand towels all the time when he comes inside to wash his hands.

He finds them too small so I purchased a dozen white nappies;  not only are they the right size 60 x 60 cm they are a whole lot cheaper than buying the small hand towels.

$25 for 12 Dickie brand at Big W ($2 each) whereas I was paying around $4 to $5 for white hand towels half the size and made out of the identical towelling.

Great idea Pepe...

It would sure save all the garden 'crap" from getting wiped onto my embroidered towels.''

and you can bleach the heck out of them!..

eBay here I come.

DArn good idea Pepe

Woolies had Dickies Towels here for half price last week which I added to my collection .... they are very good quality.

You should give your better half the old ones and keep the new ones Pepe.;)

Abby, I will keep half and he can have half  lol.

Cranky, yes you can indeed bleach the hell out of them.  I prefer white sheets and pillowslips (have been through the phase of striped, coloured sheets and now back to white) and you can keep them lovely and clean with the occasional bleach or something similar.

I thought that is what dogs were for. Mobile hand wipes. Give a whistle and there they are.

LOL SD...no doggie here! :)

Maybe SD is offering ?

Abby,

They come in colours to suit the work as well.

Brown for clay and mud. Black for oil and grease. White, have to think about that one. Brindle and so forth.

Self cleaning too.

Nah Abby....too late to get another  pet now....when we downsize no room for pets and also we want to do more travelling and not fair on animal and would have to put in kennels as we dont like to rely on others to look after pets
