Would you like a cat backpack?

Keeping cats can be a tricky proposition for many people. With all the laws surrounding cat ownership these days, particularly having to keep them enclosed during the day and night, this clever contraption could be seen as a godsend.

How would you like to take your cat for a walk?

I do not think cats would be happy in it at all (ours would not anyway)

Idea maybe is good.

Guess like walking a cat in a harness on a leash it must be taught preferably at a young age ... looks like a great idea and if I had a cat I would definitely buy one for her.

My Siamese used to love travelling in the car .. and would hide in my suitcase whilst I was packing .. purr like crazy if I put some clothes on top of her.

I remember many a time when she snuck into my car and came out from under the seat 30 km into a journey and I had to return her back home.

Cute but Australian conditions would mean it would be way too hot inside there most of the time. I hope for the pets' sakes it doesn't catch on.

In my council area there are not enough rules about keeping cats in -- I have nothing against cats BUT do have against lots of owners that allow their cats to roam day AND night and kill all the wildlife --

IF you have a cat then PLEASE keep it in and only let it out if you take it for a walk -- -- would have to be trained very early to walk on a lead -- that backpack looks quite unnatural to me

Yes I agree there should be stricter laws about keeping pets ... too many people get animals which they loose interest in once the animal grows up.
