Is this Trump's final faux pas?

As Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump went head-to-head in the second of three debates to be held in the lead-up to US presidential voting, you couldn't help but ‘admire’ the sheer gall of a man who is fast losing every supporter he had.

Bluff and bluster has been as much part of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign as his ability to put his foot right in it. He has made racist comments, sexist remarks, been derogatory to the disabled and even attacked the parents of a young many who gave his life for his country. He has scoffed in the face of tax-paying Americans struggling to make a living by stating that his own tax-avoidance is simply down to him being smarter than they are. Yet the Republican Party has ‘stood by their man’.

However, it seems that the audio released at the end of last week, where Trump can clearly be heard admitting to what is essentially sexual assault, could be the final nail in the coffin of the man who would be President.

Hilary Clinton has her own skeletons in the closet, largely due to her over-sexed husband, Bill. Despite Trump’s attempt to turn the table of sexually unacceptable behaviour on the former president during yesterday’s debate, Ms Clinton had once again done her homework and was more than ready for the onslaught. Fact checkers found that of the 25 statements Trump made on a range of issues, he was wrong or ‘bending the truth’ in 20, while Hilary was wrong in only three.

All political views aside, Donald Trump’s behaviour has been at best unedifying and at worst, well, there are few words to qualify the sideshow that is Trump.

We may look at the often debacle of our own political parties and shake our heads, but let’s be thankful we’re a long way from having a Trump run for Prime Minister.

Has Donald Trump all but blown his chances of being President? Or do you think he’s still in with a chance?
