Whatever happened to zika?
Remember we were all going to die from zika virus after the Rio Olympics?
And that there would be small brained babies all over the world?
Wasn't it a load of crap?

Hope you're right Barak.
Missed my point completely.
As you've missed mine Barak.
OK. Where ARE all the extra cases of zika following the Rio Olympics?
I'll answer for you. They don't exist.
As for microcepahly, no link has ever been proven with zika. There really is no point worrying about 9 months time.
This whole thing has been a typical, media driven, scare campaign, just as with SARS, swine flu, bird flu, ebola, etc, etc, etc.....
Scaring the population is a long established way of finding AND holding more readers, viewers and listeners.
Please explain what that graphic is telling us.
Check Statista
Can't be bothered.
Putting it here was your idea. If you won't explain the point of it, there's not much point to it, is there?
Is it telling me I'll get preganant and have a microcephalic baby?
Anything is a posibility
To the best of my understanding the main risk of zika virus is to unborn babies whose mums have contracted this virus. Given that none of the YLC are unborn and I suspect none are young women who have been to affected areas, I can be fairly confident is saying we are not going to die from this virus.
In relation to the extra cases of newborns affected by this virus I'd imagine this would not be seen for the traditional 9 months. I'm hoping that there aren't extra cases of babies affected.
Please prove to me that "the main risk of zika virus is to unborn babies whose mums have contracted this virus."
I have seen many statements to that effect, but no proof, just fear campaigns.

I'm in the clear. This is what I said:
Ray7 weeks agoYou stand a better chance of getting Histoplasmosis from cleaning chicken pens than the Zika virus.
