Nobody loves Malcolm

"Voter satisfaction with Malcolm Turnbull’s performance as Prime Minister has sunk below 30 per cent for the first time, as Labor chalked up its third successive Newspoll lead of 52 to 48 per cent."

He's still ahead of Tony' worst effort, I guess, but the trend is downhill.

Murdoch alert

I'm pleased you noticed.

Nice to see your reading material has improved and you're extending yourself.

I actually saw the headline on the front page of a copy of the paper where I bought petrol this morning. Thought it would be a great topic for discussion here. Glad you like it.

So how do you reckon Malcolm's going? Especially now that the percentage of people who support him is lower than the percentage who unthinkingly always vote Liberal.

Ah well, my heading was wrong. Abby loves Malcolm, apparently, but Abby probably loved Tony too, when he was leader, and every other Liberal leader in history.

Would Abby still love Malcolm if the party sacked him as PM and he left the party?

You could at least wish Malcolm a Happy Birthday for yesterday.... I thought that is why you put the thread up

Malcolm's never wished me a Happy Birthday.

He always sends me wishes for my bithdays

Why did the ceiling collapse?

Poor workmanship...as a result of union bosses shortchanging the construction...

Providence loves Malcolm...he was not hurt!!

What an imagination!

There is no mention at all of any union in that article.

It's more a likely an example of a cheapskate tradie taking shortcuts.

Nobody?  I love you Malcolm, and I'm a somebody...

Did you love Tony too?

You are OFF TOPIC barak ... this ithread s for all those that love Malcom ... thank you for starting it

Yes Franky..I'm a grandiose..big noting...self-aggrandizing "somebody" and I love Malcolm too...

Long live Malcolm...

I found Tony Abbott to be a useless bullying thug and an embarrassment to Australia on the world stage. I was pleased to see Malcolm take the job and had every confidence in him to turn things around. I even gave Malcolm the benefit of the doubt in his first term, knowing that a condition of support from many was that he would not wind back Abbotts promises and policies in the first term. Now well into his second term, I must admit that Malcolm is a huge disappointment and I can well understand his waning popularity. Never underestimate a politicians capacity to disappoint.

The conundrum that all Australians face now is to find a better alternative - NOBODY on either side of politics inspires real confidence.

What's there to love about somebody who calls himself an Australian but has a tax shelter overseas, wants to give his well off buddies tax cuts and seeks to impose ever increasing taxes and burdens on the rest of society.

Turnbull is a pathetic puppet and has sold his soul.  I feel sorry for the man but worry for the nation.

I too feel sorry for Malcolm but sorry for our country. I wonder what he could do if he wasn't hamstrung by his own party. Unfortunate, but if he had the gumption (for want of a better word) he could be a good leader...

You just have to look at his expression to see that he is a beaten man

Turnbull is an indecisive incompetent who is ruining this country. I have NO sympathy whatsoever for him. He is out of his depth, hasn't a clue what he is doing, is TOTALLY out of touch with reality, and has NOT done ONE positive thing since he came into office after stabbing Abbott in the back!

You will all eat your words...don't worry indigestion can be cured with a few home truths....

Of course no one likes this incompetent egotist - HE'S DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY WITH HIS IGNORANCE!!

The heading is a lie! Lucy loves Malcolm because he did what she asked; he became PM and doesn't she love it. Pity she didn't tell him what he had to do when he got there.

I've actually wondered if Lucy could do a better job as PM.

Does not her choice of partner somewhat reflect her competence of decision making?

Ha ha.
