Will Trump Survive?

If the oligarchy is unable to control Trump and he is actually successful in curbing the power and budget of the military/security complex and in holding the financial sector politically accountable, Trump could be assassinated.  In a country whose institutions have been so completely corrupted by the Oligarchy, it is difficult to achieve real change without bloodshed. ”

i think that if he even looks as if he is going in this direction it would be enough to blackmail him into compliance or, if that fails, assassinate him.

we won’t know what to expect until we see who are appointed to the top administrative positions. If it is the usual crowd, we will know trump has been captured and it will be 'business as usual' following the same destructive policies as those pursued by bush and obama. i hope not.

the above quote is from dr. paul craig roberts who was assistant secretary of the treasury for economic policy and associate editor of the 'wall street journal'.

A train in Germany

toot2000

My interpretation of that bit of vandalism is that it is disgusting but by all means, enlighten me!

It's interesting that they didn't translate it to German.

Where have you been Mussi?

Good question.... where have I been?  Lost in the world of work and today when I should be having some fun, I am not feeling so good.... not sick just 'out of sorts' which feels weird.

I watched the video and can see why you put it up, it reflects the conversation Trump had "with the boys", making a big fellow of himself.

Still find the vandalism disgusting, plus it seems (??) to be saying that it is a good thing and reflects the American way (because of the use of the flag)... when it doesn't reflect anything except a bunch of blokes doing their macho thing.

Things said in private should stay in private... I am sure that everyone on this site has said in private, something that they wouldn't want anyone else to hear!

Thanks toot2000 for taking the time to update me.... I appreciate it.

I think I will take the dog for a walk, have a coffee and then lie down.

Cheers  to you toot2000.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Mussi, hope you feel better soon.

Kika

I believe you hit the nail on the head.....

"we won’t know what to expect until we see who are appointed to the top administrative positions. If it is the usual crowd, we will know trump has been captured and it will be 'business as usual' following the same destructive policies as those pursued by bush and obama".

Trump had the customary meeting with the deep state representatives and has come out (as did Obama) as an 'establishment' man.

Trump has taken on one of the most embedded Goldman Sachs (vampire squid) boy to hold the position of Treasurer Secretary (from memory) and has handed over his only power, his billions, to be managed by others which means he has no power, they control it all.

Most disappointing, as I thought the world actually had some hope of real change from the neo con fascism that eminates from the USA.  IF Trump continues in the same direction as those instigated before the election we could well be looking at a world war, as the deep state think they are untouchable and will not allow their world power to diminish.

There megacorps have taken over most of the western world and are embedded in Africa & many Asian countries, and with Japan having STOCKHOLM SYNDROME, there is little they don't control.  That is why there has been a big push to demonise Russia in particular but also China.  China has some power in holding so many US Bonds and aligning their currency with the US$... if they were to dump both, the USA could go into meltdown.

My sentiments are the same as yours - you always were aware of the US duplicity, dirty dirty world interference, war mongering and lack of any application of democratic processes (eg. rule of law - all people equal before the law (no longer exists); people denied access to courts and legal representation (black bagging & disappearance of citizens passed by legislation 1/1/12); torture sanctioned at the highest levels).

Nice to see you are still around Kika, you keep my feet on the ground.

Muss I am also sorry you are not the best -- hope all will be well soon.

thanks for your comments muss.

as i've said before, it doesn't reallly matter who has been placed as the usa president, as they don't rule the country.

it is ruled by the big money in the FIRE sector (finance, insurance, real estate) plus the military industry.  the rest is just "bread and circuses" for the masses.

it matters little whether it is trump or clinton - it will be business as usual.  i.e. trying to conquer the world and keep the US dollar alive, although its just about expired, and now needing life support!

i think that all these political dramas will be overtaken by global warming, lack of clean water, ocean acidification, lack of resources, massive pollution, extinction of other species and over-population of humans.  indeed, these are the drivers of current and future political dramas world wide.

I think you are close to the truth kika.  But, I believe that Yellen will lift the US Fed interest 25 points, either this month or in February & that will give a big rise to the $US & a horrific effect on the American stock market, which could easily dive over 30%.  With the unexpected rise in iron ore & the impending major jump in LNG prices, we could emerge again smelling like a rose.

Innes

Yellen and her predecessors have been assuring the world that it would do this every 3 months since 2006 and have only lifted it once and that was in 2015.  Even then it didn't help the US economy and put even more strain on it but was necessary to save face internationally.

Yes, IF (?) it happens (Goldman Sachs and their cohorts will decide that, in reality), stocks will be effected but I am sure the manipulation of this market by the likes of Goldman Sachs and others will try very hard to counteract it... unless of course, Trump is not doing what he is told, that is.

Re: LNG and Australia "smelling like a rose"..... UNFORTUNATELY NO that won't happen through LNG anyway!

I have included an excerpt that you need to read and I have attached a LINK which has a video which you can watch.

Corruption and GROSS MISMANAGEMENT comes to mind.  This has nothing to do with parties, it is too important, it is about Australia and OUR resources and wealth.

....Since the article below, it has been established that JAPAN who buys our LNG pays less for it than Australians and in addition Australia has to buy back our own LNG for domestic purposes for way more than other countries.

MY ANSWER TO ALL THIS....... NATIONALISE!!!!  The mega monster corporations are screwing Australia and STEALING our resources and wealth.

Turnbull government called on to explain where Australia's offshore gas wealth is going

 Heath Aston Heath Aston

It's a story of two resource-rich countries with two very different ways of harnessing the wealth they are blessed with.

By 2021 Australia will eclipse the Persian Gulf state of Qatar to become the world's biggest exporter of liquefied natural gas.

In that year, when both countries are forecast to pump and ship roughly 100 billion cubic metres of LNG each, Qatar's government will receive $26.6 billion in royalties from the multinational companies exploiting its offshore gasfields.

According to Treasury estimates, Australia will receive just $800 million for the same volume of gas leaving its shores.

Long wait for LNG royalties

Malcolm Turnbull approved the massive LNG project in 2007 - but it won't pay the Commonwealth a cent for another two decades.

All of this is unbelievable.... innes, you would make a better PM and manager of Australia than any of this lot because you wouldn't allow these monster corps to screw your country and take our wealth for peanuts.

Still out of sorts... so will try and pop in tomorrow.

I have not made up my mind yet, as to whether Trump is a mad man, or the greatest proponant of Political Science America has ever seen.  I will wait until after 20th January.  But I wish that he had not have to have been the Polly to tear up the TPP which I can't believe we signed.

BTW Mussitate, are you certain that Turnbull approved the LNG deal in 2007.  I vaguely remember our first major sale of LNG was to China at 3 cents per litre.  My lousy memory thinks that the sale was made from W.A., not the Commonwealth.  With the World price of LNG going through the roof at an accelerating rate, why are we signing long term contracts instead of futures & spot price deals?  Any suburban real estate agent could do a better job.

The graffiti train.

It was written by Pommie lads over there for a football match. They can't forget the WWII and get back at the Nazi's any chance they can.

Well folks - Trump has survived!  I always said he would!   In his first week of office he is apparently denying the rights of 550,000 Syrian/possibly "Muslim"  refugees into the U.S!

The number that "Hillary" approved of!  Also apparently that Obama would have approved?

The U.S. is in dire straits financially and to have this number of people on immediate welfare would prove a mega additional monetry problem to them!

Go Trump!  "Making America Great Again!"  .....and hopefully he will ......  :-)

He is not the "nutter" people make him out to be!

When did immigrants stop being a positive for the economy?

Right Foxy.  Noticed that Yellen increased the interest rate 25 points, last week as I predicted.  The $US rose sharply against every major currencys in the World & the $AU dropped almost 3% in a couple of days.  Note that the ASX is rising to its highest level in a number of years.  The only bit that I got wrong (so far) is that the American market has broken the all time record.  But, the crash is coming.  All great news for the mid year Morrison budget.  BUT, will it save Turnbull?  I doubt it.
