North Korea's weird letter to Australia

North Korea has sent a letter to the Australian Government, asking it to turn against US President Donald Trump.

The letter from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) via the Jakarta embassy.

“The Foreign Affairs Committee … bitterly condemns the reckless remarks of Trump as an intolerable insult to the Korean people, a declaration of war against the DPRK and a grave threat to the global peace,” the letter reads.

“From the first day of his office, Trump has engaged himself in highhanded and arbitrary practice, scrapping international laws and agreements incurring his displeasure on the ‘US-first principle’, the height of American way of thinking that is best if the US is well-off at the expense of the whole world.

“If Trump thinks that he would bring the DPRK, a nuclear power, to its knees through nuclear war threat, it will be a big miscalculation and an expression of ignorance.”

“Ri Jong-ho, a North Korean defector who previously ran an international network of North Korean businesses, claims the current sanctions could devastate the hermit dictatorship.

He told crowds at an Asia Society event in New York: “The sanctions that the White House has imposed on North Korea are of a historic level.

“Never before has the country faced such tough sanctions. I don’t know if North Korea will survive a year with these sanctions. People will die.”

Mr Ri used to be in charge of North Korean tactics to get around UN sanctions, but defected with his family in 2014.”

It seems US pressure on China to impose sanctions is having an effect . It’s only China that can sort out this mad man.

Trump needs to come down from his high horse called Narcissistic,  and wake up to himself

And do what?

And stop making such stupid statements and doing ridiculous things he is acting like a stupid teenager not a mature man that is supposed to be President

His pressuring China to impose Santions under threat of retaition against any company doing business with North Korea appears to be having an effect according to My above post.

No other President has achieved anything against North Korea .

OK thanks Brocky,  I must have read it wrong -- I do apologise

I think it is a sign of bad leadership that Trump resorts to tweeting like a little boy. If he had not made all those teasing comments I doubt we would be where we are today with a threat of war.  He should be banned from using social platforms to get his personal message across. He is someone in high position & should direct anything that is to be said through the proper channels.

I agree terrib-- he is so unprofessional

Australia didnt say that about Kevin Rudd. He was the tweet and selfie master. At least Trumps messages are cutting through. And many of them are well thought out. I know it's very dissapointing to get your ass kicked with your own Modus Operandi.

very good advice from north korea.  we would do well to take this seriously.  we are blindly following the usa down a dangerous path.

I disagree kika. This alliance we have with the USA is a very well constructed strategy to deal with the problem of Australia's national security.

I believe Ri Jong-Ho may be correct. The letter from Win Jing-Ho was a sign that Trump has achieved what those who went before him could not.
