Have more threads gone belly up?
I know I have trouble finding my way around here but I thought I was getting on top of things.
The name changing makes it difficult to work out what's going on, on occasions, but I catch up soon enough.
But when whole threads seem to just disappear without trace it leaves me scratching my head and wondering what I missed.
Have the threads about trickle down (or was it up?) economics and the other one about the SSM bill imploded?
I've never been involved with the moderating of forums but have friends and family members who have so I know it takes a lot of time and they can't be on top of everything, but why take the entire threads down, surely locking them would be just as effective and also would serve as a lesson of what 'not to do. Just my thoughts.
Yep Adrianus, No holds barred did become read-only at the request of the starter Thea (now Sophie)’s request, which I find rather ironic, bearing in mind the original title of the topic, that is, "No holds barred" ended up "Everything barred read-only".
Over time that topic had various title changes culminating in LIFE IS LIKE A SYMPHONY..

Where members change the title of topics and sometimes the introduction too ..it makes it very difficult.

Unfortunatelly a lot people do not put their topics into into appropriate segments and just use GENERAL DISCUSSION and you complicate it with some SPAM which is very prevalent on this forum and it is very difficult to find.
