Beware of this viral smartphone app

The latest viral sensation being used worldwide by celebrities, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters is a smartphone application that allows the user to upload a photo to have it morphed into an older version of how they will look.

On the surface, Face App looks a bit of fun. The reality is far different. By uploading your photos, you are giving the company behind Face App, located in Russia, a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide” license to “use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display your content”.

“If you use Face App you are giving them a license to use your photos, your name, your username, and your likeness for any purpose including commercial purposes (like on a billboard or internet ad),” Lawyer Elizabeth Potts Weinstein wrote on twitter.

If I used Face App ... I'd look like a corpse!!!

The Russians are welcome to my first-world embarrassment.

All the same ... thanks for the warning Ben.

I don't need this app, I already know what I will look like. I'm told I look like my grandpa and he was a handsome devil, hahah. Wonder if Gordon Ramsay's  seen his
