Question? How does one save a back up of google calendar?

I am disabled, I share my google calendar with hubby. If google were to have a melt down, we have no other calendar. So how does one back it up, or can one back up a google calendar to a hard copy?

Have a friend who lost data on her phone and fortunately she keeps a calendar that you write on still, so was able to see what they were doing when. With my physical health I can no longer write.

ideas please? Saved contacts just on computer and can print them but don't want to as not in any cloud. So surely one can do this with google calendars?

thanks,

Belinda

Thank you so much for those very clear instructions.
Feeling so much better knowing I can have a copy somewhere, even if I do it every three months.

Will probably try it on Thursday. Will let you know how I go,

thanks again,

belinda

Good luck Belinda.

I would also keep a backup copy of your contacts, calendar and most important stuff on one or two USB sticks or external hard drives just in case the computer turns its toes up. Doing that has saved me losing everything on more than one occasion. I also keep a biannual backup at my son's place.

Yes thanks ren. I have 4 external drives and shared one and save bookmarks, contacts, docs, photos...but wouldn't know how to save google cal on this. guess as PDF, as above duh!
thanks again
