How you can buy a new TV from as little as $1

Hundreds of brand new smart TVs initially destined for major retailer stores have since been locked down in storage and will instead be cleared in a massive unreserved auction this weekend.

“These TVs were destined for major retail stores around Australia and have since been in lock down for months but now they all need to move and quickly,” said Lee Hames, chief operations officer for Lloyds Auctions

There are pallets of Ultra HD TVs packed with all of the tech ranging from 39 inch to 75 inch and all of them are selling completely unreserved with all televisions starting at just $1.

“Due to the volume of product we expect there to be many bargains to be had right around the country as we are offering a flat rate shipping model for these TVs of only $30 to anywhere nationwide,” continued Mr Hames.

“Normally their retail would range for anywhere between $500 and $4000 but with this auction who knows what crazy bargains people might be able to snap up and people really can’t go wrong here with our 14-day return to store warranty we are offering.”

The Konka brand name is new to the Australian market but has been around for around 30 years and is popular across the Asian market.

The current bidding online suggests there are some ultimate bargains to be had, with 55-inch and 65-inch models still at only $1 with just five days until the auction closes.

The auction ends at 11am AEDT on Saturday 28 November and you can make a bid at www.lloydsauctions.com.au.

Yep just had a look and all are KONKA brand..... sure cant find a $1.00 dollar TV anywhere...I did see a 16.5% buyers premium.

Good luck to all you bidders for KONKA

Tried Lloyds site but could not find TV's  for auction.

type tv in search it will come up

In this same issue is an item re sale by auction of UHD 4K T.V's for prices starting at $1.00 I haven't looked at the site but the auction house, Lloyds would seem to be legit.

Is this a case of it being too good to be true.

I could be cautious and miss a really good deal, or I could lose a lot (for me) of money.

Anyone with any thoughts?

Just scrolled and saw 3 comments. Seems to be legit but maybe a bit loose with the facts.
