What an absolute A'Hole David Oldfield is, nothing but an arrogant / ignorant  piece of work.

Yes he is arrogant/ignorant PlanB and Pauline Hanson is just as bad.

I was hoping someone would put this up, yes Oldfied is coming across as an arrogant pig, but you need to have two differing points of view and without him, it wouldn't be real.

I was actually surprised that at the beginning not one seemed to know OR care much about the Aboriginals at all and this really disgusted me -- the others seem to have gained a bit of empathy for them -- except for that mongrel Oldfield.

When you consider that they are the oldest race on earth and never damaged the planet at all -- and we have wrecked it in very little time -- same as all indigenous races -- they HAVE to be respected

Boy, am I glad I wasn't in Oldfield's presence when he said this:

“it’s not actually good for Aborigines to remain Aborigines, they should be Australians and you just naturally let it die out. Frankly it should have died out like the Stone Age died out”

I wouldn't call him arrogant because you can only be arrogant if you know what you're talking about. He is pig ignorant just like his mate Hanson.

Its a darn shame that people such as Oldfield have not died out -- what a mongrel of a man he is,  the others turned out to be very caring.

I am ALL for the Aboriginals and its about time we recognised them fully -- I am ashamed at the way they have been and still are treated us  -- they -- the Aboriginals were so forgiving -- in that Doco.

I would like to know who was responsible for all the stolen generations -- and they should be punished and eliminated -- I THINK a lot of them were  "Christians!!!??" it is an absolute disgusting state of affairs -- but who's idea was this?????

Maybe he'll have his Road to Damascus moment in the final episode.

Slowly, slowly, things are getting better as more parents agree to send their kids away to boarding school.  This video gives me hope for their future.

Yes toot, having been involved in the system, I think boarding schools (obviously with parental approval) are the solution.

And because we don't actually want to take these kids away from their culture and families long term, these schools need to be able to cope effectively with things like sorry business, which can lead to kids missing quite a bit of school time.
