We are conducting a study in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide called "healthy ageing and cognitive abilities".

 

Participants are required to come into our lab in the School of Psychology, University of Adelaide North Terrace Campus. The study takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete, and volunteers are paid $50 for their time. 

 

We are investigating ageing effects on cognitive ability in healthy participants. The cognitive performance of two age groups – 18-30 years and 65+ years – will be compared, allowing us to develop better insights into healthy ageing and normal age-related decline in general cognitive functioning, such as working memory, learning and reasoning ability, and processing speed.

 

We are testing now, and aim to recruit a further 40 older participants over the next few weeks.
