If anyone at YLC is looking to see a great movie, I recommend "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society". The title is a bit of a mouthful but the storyline is captivating. I give it a 10/10.

Must look out for it!  Was searching yesterday for a movie to go and see, but apart from

Peter Rabbit  [!!]  I cannot find anything.    Peter Rabbit looks like fun.

Hi Celia- I loved the movie. My friend took her grandchildren to see Peter Rabbit and she said she thoroughly loved it.

I noticed this was on a seniors preview at 10.30am this last monday.   Wish I had noticed it earlier.

Yes I would love to see Peter Rabbit too!  I have seen the preview twice now.  Looks nice and light with a giggle. 

Thanks for the tip HOLA. We are planning to go out for dinner and a movie this weekend and that sounds great!

Loved the movie HOLA, Micha was a bit disappointed it wasn't filmed in Guernsey, which we both visited in our youth. Devon made up for it though. Thanks for suggesting it!

What a mouthful to remember Hola....lol

I too must look it up and read the reviews.

I hope its better than that green tomatoes film that had the long name...

And all the people that are a child had heart would just love Peter Rabbit ,such a change from the ugly violence and sadistic fare of many other movies of late.....:)

Saw the potato movie yesterday.  Loved the book and also the movie.  A history lesson as well as a love story. Great characters.

Also saw the potato movie yesterday.  Certainly taught me things I didn't know about the war.  Very enjoyable
