Ainsley Gotto

For those who may not know Ainsley Gotto died three days ago, aged 71. I know nothing more.

However, a large amount of secret files (to only be opened on her death) may make interesting reading.

When coming to Australia in 1970 she was in all the papers I was reading, always in line with

reports of John Gorton (all the way with LBJ). Brings back memories!!

I have no idea who Ainsley Gotto is...

She was John Gorton's right hand man (woman) and supposedly having an affair with him. I personally doubt it.

I am surprised that some have not heard of her. Anyone around 70 years of age would know of her surely.

Having arrived in Australia in the 1980s..I am still finding out about past events in Australian political history..
