Syria is a fighting a war against NUTTER groups that have allegance with ISIS and this includes the US/Saudi backed sunni 'Rebels' who support sunni ISIS groups and who have themselvesw committed disgusting atrocities, including using civilians as shields and forcing them to stay in Aleppo.

There are always innocent casualties in wars and Wikipedia state that just over 21,000 innocent people have been killed in Aleppo over four (4) years of fighting.  

So rather than blame Syria for protecting THEIR country (with Russia's help) from NUTTERS.... why are we not calling on the USA and Saudi Arabia to get the hell out of Syria and STOP funding, training, supplying arms and weapons to ISIS groups either directly through so called sunni 'Rebels' or through sunni Saudi Arabia directly to sunni ISIS groups.

If this were to happen, ISIS and all its groups would be easily overcome and Syria could recall its people to rebuild its nation and peace would be returned.  No, the USA & the Saudis wouldn't be able to put their puppet (NUTTER sunni ISIS/Saudi aligned) government in to control that region of the middle east BUT Syria would be able to return to a peaceful multi-religioned SECULAR nation.

Here is a bloody excellent article by Gus Leoniski on Syria with some asides on Russia & Ukraine..... bloody brilliant.

Gus appears to be Australian (?) and has a sense of humour BUT his article on Syria say it all as I myself would have wanted to have said but he does it a lot better.

 

THIS IS REALLY WORTH READING ALL THE WAY THROUGH.... it's about Syria but is not boring and I am amazed that he understands things exactly as I do!

thank you for the link mussi.  its a great article and what a shame so many people are fooled by mainstream media and do not know what is really going on in the middle east.

the us-led attack on syria is all about president assad refusing the usa government's orders to put an oil/gas pipeline through his country .....

"First in 2009 they (usa) instructed Assad to install a gas pipeline through Syria, coming from Saudi and Qatari oil fields to Europe via Turkey to undercut the Russians. Assad refused — his friends, the Russians, told him why if he did not know. The US Empire saw red. The Obama administration started to create trouble in Syria by 2011. The plan was to oust Assad, replace him with a new US/Saudi puppet or a “Consensus” Sunni government. Of course the Americans could not care less about the Syrian people and its ethnic mix which so far went along quite well. The Americans sponsored “rebels” with weapons, training and cash."

and now the usa and obama are desperate to sabotage trump as much as possible before he takes office by upping their old cold war propaganda against russia.  they are beginning to sound quite childish and even crazier than usual.

 

This seems to contradict that proposition.

That was a very good article - thank you.  

It discussed the pipline aspect in detail and it stated that "despite the reference to Saudi and Israeli intelligence reports that WikiLeaks has obtained, no story has been published based on those leaked documents that supports the 'pipeline war' thesis".

It went on to state that:

"If it’s not a pipeline war, why is the US intervening in Syria? The US decision to support Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in their ill-conceived plan to overthrow the Assad regime was primarily a function of the primordial interest of the US permanent war state in its regional alliances. The three Sunni allies control US access to the key US military bases in the region, and the Pentagon, the CIA, the State Department and the Obama White House were all concerned, above all, with protecting the existing arrangements for the US military posture in the region".  (bold type - my addition)

 

Hence, the USA are supporting, by proxy,  sunni ISIS & Al Qaeda & other NUTTER GROUPS plus its very own sunni 'rebel' NUTTER GROUP directly.  The reason for their support may vary but the FACT that they are supporting these nutter groups, either directly or indirectly is still one that needs to be addressed.  

Turkey was there because of the pipeline (now support Russia) and Qatar and Saudi Arabia are still there because of the pipeline and the USA are there because their sunni mates that just happen to be extreme nutter murderous mongrel dictators provide essential bases to the USA which allows the USA to "assert" its control over the region.

Over 320,000 Syrians are said to have been killed in this disgusting invasion on Syria and the USA is complicit....

.........without the USA's support the sunni NUTTER groups supported by the Saudis and Qatar and the USA's direct support of sunni 'rebels' this disgusting conflict would have been ended long ago (without Russia's involvement).  

The lives lost would have been drastically reduced and the refugees would still be in their own country with most of its infrastructure still standing.

The USA continue to use military muscle, murder, torture and political interference to force other countries to do what they want and don't realise that times are changing and it is time to negotiate and work with other countries.... in peace.  

Unfortunately, the nutcases running the USA (and I am not talking about Trump) still think they are the world supremos with the biggest military might on the planet to back them up.  These are the 1% who control the US Govt and some of the largest corporations in the world... the same ones that have crucified their own country to put even more money in their pockets.  Crazy, brainless, powerhungry *&^%$#@! with more money than brains.... they actually believe their own propaganda - you can't get any more stupid than that.

Trump at least recognises what Putin has done for Russia and 'states' he wants to do the same for the USA... make it prosperous again.  My problem with him is that he supports without thought the Israelis and has a warped view of Muslims without any apparent knowledge of the difference between murderous extremist sunnis (Qatar, Saudi, etc - run by barbaric dictators) and the non-sunni peaceful Muslims.  Hopefully he sits down with Putin and learns the difference OR just exits the Middle East which would restore some peace.  

Trump in my opinion was/is less a danger than Clinton would have been.... she declared outright that she would conduct a WAR with RUSSIA which would have turned into a world war and a nuclear war.... how insane is that!  Clinton thinks she is part of the 1%... silly woman!

Yep.... Yep.... Yep.  The very FIRST thing any non-neo con government should do if they get elected is bring in very, very, very STRICT media rules with HUGE penalties for misdemeanours.  Stop foreign influence (go back to Australian owned media only) and have a media charter that is backed up with strong legislation and which can't be changed unless the country votes for it (over 70%).

Right now though, it is so *&^%$#@! frustrating to see our wonderful country being slowly turned over to foreign monster corporations who suck out our wealth and prosperity and turn us into a 1% owning 90% of the wealth country, leaving the 99% with 10% if they are lucky.  Bringing on cheap workers from overseas to cut wages & conditions and double the unemployment in Australia and with it comes poverty, undereducation, no health, no benefits & services, crime over the top, drugs worse than double what it is now... etc, etc
