Anyone using Morphine Patches.
Any sharing re the patches would be helpful.
Thanks.
i would ask about the no invasive lasar acupuncture PHYL, nothing going into your body at all, i googled it up, and seems fine, i am ENDONE for back pain, have you tried those, a bit stronger than panadene forte.
Will hope all OK with your Blood tests Phyl -- I think anythig used in the right way will be OK just try the lowest dose 1st up --- and I always take as least as I can manage as far as the tablets go.
Have not used the patches, but the tablet.....they spaced me out. I asked the GP why do some people become addicted to Morphine. The reply surprised me, the reply was ' you needed the morphine' people that become addicted to it don't need it. Yes I have used Endone and I have a new script each year, anything I don't use I return to the chemist.
Panadene Forte is like taking smarties! I was on a flight to the UK and my back went on me over Germany, I was sitting next to a lady doctor and she said you need Morphine! I asked if she had any, no was her reply........So I ended flat on my back to relieve the pain in the isle! Then I had to go by myself into first class to land.
ANN, how can you get a script for ENDONE for 12 months? can only get 20 at a time, then have to go back for a repeat. my hubby does get a script for 60 at a time, but doc has to ring through to get permission for them, only someone with very acute pain will get more than 20 at a time,
I have used Morphine Patches - Norspan for Nerve Pain. Started at 5mg and worked up, under Doctor's supervision to higher doses and weaned back down after some weeks. I found them helpful as the horrid pain was kept at a tolerable level and I was able to go about life, without feeling like a Zombie. Good Luck.
You did P.B. and I was so impressed, getting my blood tests tomorrow and seeing Doc. earlier, re the Morphine patches :) not to worry the Norspan you spoke of may be the way to go.
Will let folks know what I try.
Thanks again.
