Big Appetite Lately

I really do not like this feeling of wanting food all the time.
This is only last couple of months. Have breakfast about lunchtime, and then don't feel as if I have enough and just keep on looking for more to eat into evening.
Any tricks to tell my body - you had enough!!

It is 4 years this month when I had biopsy to confirm it.

Had a small bump on my boob for years and never bothered,

but only when noticed it was getting bigger I had it checked out.

I had a car accident 6 months previously and my inclination is that

the body shock and the stress caused it to grow.

Most of medical science does not take that path from what I understand.

I agree with you Mara, I am sure that knocks can cause these things, I have know a few that have had knocks and have then got Cancer.

Oh Mara we all have days when we feel like you do today, but I think

it just so unusual you needing sympathy my friend as you

always appear so strong. We have known you for probably all of those

four years havn't we? Good on you showing that rotten 'C' where to go.

It has often been said people get stronger and more appreciative of life when they

have cancer and you my friend have beaten it. I know what you mean doing

things your way after all it is your body and nobody knows it better than you do and

you are doing something right.

.

Enjoying our food is important and a little of what you fancy does no harm anyway.

I think most of us do go through times when our body craves more food than

other times. I crave chocolate constantly preferably Tim Tams so do not have

them in the house, but Peter and I often share a packet when out, and in fact we had

two, yes two Kit Kats each today - those chunky ones but they were our lunch and we are

having something more healthy for dinner lol. I count calories and when I have eaten

2,200 cals. a day I stop eating and if desperate have a cup of hot chocolate.

.

Today we bought 20 packets of Carnation milk for just $1 a tin and ordered

as a "rain check' 40 packets Blueberries from Coles for just $2 and I am not sure the extra bit on

each I think 50c. so $2.50 a packet less than full price. $100 savings how's that??????

Good hey? Bargains do give me pleasure.

Have a nice Sat. night.

hugs

Phyl

Thanks Phyl, yes I've been around for while and no plans to leave *ha*

I would not go as far as to say I've beaten it and in natural therapies lingo you don't beat it, you work with it.

Body cells have taken another path for a reason only they know - some disorder/weakness or.

My tumor is protruding and visible even with the jumper on. Biggest problem is understanding its language

and medical profession with billions of $$ all over the world do not have know-how?? don't believe that.

It is barbaric what they are doing. Anyhow.. get off my horse and my bread is in the oven beautiful aroma.

Fermented wheat flour with polenta!! nice and hot with butter.. and I am hungry.

I am 71 done very well, produced 3 Ozzis - one PhD, one gambler and one desperately trying to be a businessman.

off for a peek in the oven*** oops, and I forgot two husbands and few romantic encounters.

Now in hibernation and no one to sing to - 'are you lonesome tonight'...

sorry for the crap****

You can eat all the salad and fruit you want to fill yourself up with. Also adding psyllium husks to your diet would be a good move - I add it to my breakfast banana smoothie.

Mara you do not speak crap language matey.

71 is still young enough to find another love of your life

so maybe there is a wonderful bloke

who sees you in the moonlight and cannot take his

eyes off you and then every night you will have an arm around you

and someone to lean on (it is very nice) but only if he deserves you

and you think he is cute ;-)

.

You know there is probably something just growing somewhere

waiting to be discovered will just give all cancer the boot but where is it?

Raeline Boyle is doing well isn't she and many like her and you.

.

Australia needs you so keep looking for answers and doing what you

are doing as it can be beaten.

.

I know what Jacinta is saying about Psyllium and filling a person

up and also great for the bowels but if any gerd/reflux cannot take it

I wish I could, as I used to be able to, and agree it is great but not

everyone can manage to eat it. I know you have heard of Mr. Gawler

and dosn't he advocate lots of fresh juices? especially beetroot?

Made anymore of your alcoholic beveridge lately :)

All the best

Phyl.

Phyl, I nearly choked!

First it was moonlight and then alcohol? - and here I am sitting with a glass and Ackabilt (not sure how you spell it)

wish I had words for the song he is playing --for all the girls I ever loved...do you know that song, who sings it?

Wish I had all that lovely music I used to dance to...

Thanks for the post, life is good***

Jacinta, thanks* I must be doing something wrong with psyllium husks. I seem to get constipated with it.

I put a teaspoon in water and drink it. But I do have problem with constipation anyway which I am fighting

anyway I can. Without this problem I think I'd do much better.

mara,

I find raw ready oats the best. No cooking if you can stand it, just thin milk over and a chopped banana or sultanas. I tried psyllium husks from Coles but for some reason it upset my stomach, bad batch? Yet I tolerate Metamusil, which I don't buy because I think they overcharge for products like that.

Those old crooners Julio Iglesias and Engelbert Humperdinck sing For all the girls I have loved before. God, how do they get away with that oily, false sentiment stuff with women? Spoken out of jealousy.

Appetite - maybe it is a change in the weather because I have made some food slip-ups over the rainy weather

Is this the one Mara?

Nautilus I love Julio Iglesias :)

.............................

To All The Girls I've Loved Before

Willie Nelson & Julio Iglesias

To all the girls I've loved before

Who travelled in and out my door

I'm glad they came along

I dedicate this song

To all the girls I've loved before

To all the girls I once caressed

And may I say I've held the best

For helping me to grow

I owe a lot I know

To all the girls I've loved before

The winds of change are always blowing

And every time I try to stay

The winds of change continue blowing

And they just carry me away

To all the girls who shared my life

Who now are someone else's wives

I'm glad they came along

I dedicate this song

To all the girls I've loved before

To all the girls who cared for me

Who filled my nights with ecstasy

They live within my heart

I'll always be a part

Of all the girls I've loved before

The winds of change are always blowing

And every time I try to stay

The winds of change continue blowing

And they just carry me away

To all the girls we've loved before

Who travelled in and out our doors

We're glad they came along

We dedicate this song

To all the girls we've loved before

To all the girls we've loved before

Who travelled in and out our doors

We're glad they came along

We dedicate this song

To all the girls we've loved before

Phyl,

You would love this. It is the same song, but with Willie Nelson and Julio,

Women become weak at the knees, men fall ill instantly at the romance of it all. No, just kidding, it isn't so hard to listen to, once.

Wonderful...... thank ya kindly Nautilus :)

er suitably weak at the knees :red:

Thanks Nautilus, never tried Metamusil will give it a shot. I know it is good for you.

The link for those songs - I can't use u-tube, can it be somehow

transferred to windows media player??

Phyl, yes they are the words, sounds bit funny - repetitious, but that's without the music

of course.

Calling Mara................:)

Have not seen a post from you for awhile

How are you going?

Hope things are going o.k. and in fact really great for you

and you are still telling the big C what it can do with itself?

all the very best

Phyl.
