Bizarre gadget for catching partners cheating
This new mattress from Durmet, named the 'Smarttress', (although I'm not sure how appropriate that name is) is designed to help you catch your partner cheating on you.
The SmartTress is fitted with an array of pressure sensors which can detect if the bed is being used for sexual activities.
Should someone have sex in the bed whilst you're not there, you'll be notified on your smartphone. You can then view some very specific statistics such as the duration of the sex, the intensity (rated out of 100 per cent), the amount of 'impacts per minute' and where on the bed there is activity.
No, this isn't an ill timed April fools joke, this product is very real, you can even download the app for iOS or Android right now.
What do you think about this? If you were out to catch your partner cheating, everything that this expensive mattress ($2200) does could be performed by a camera, albeit without the creepy statistics, plus you would know who else is on the bed.
You' don't have to be pretty thick to need one of these gizmos to find out if your partner was cheating on you.
