Brady Bunch reforms

US pay TV home renovation network HGTV has purchased the ‘Brady Bunch’ house in suburban California with plans to restore it to its ‘70s grandeur.

For the first time in 14 years, all six siblings from the show’s original cast were reunited to announce plans for the renovation and the accompanying series.

TV siblings Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) gathered for an on-camera walk-through of the home. While the six kids remain alive, dad Mike (Robert Reed), mum Carol (Florence Henderson) and housekeeper Alice (Ann B. Davis) have all since passed away.

The Brady Bunch ran for five seasons, from 1969 to 1974, and its popularity led to multiple spin-off series, specials and feature films.

Yep I watched the Brady bunch. My mother used to pay me pocket money to babysit my little sister after school while she got on with cooking dinner. My first experience of entrepreneurship, can't remember any of the episodes though.

I never watched The Brady Bunch. It had nil interest for me and my friends between 1969 and 1974.

THE BRADY BUNCH

Would have watched only a couple of episodes and found it very uninteresting

...are all these people still alive ??

Theres a documentary on you tube about the original house. Only the facade was real, the inside of the house which did not match the outside was a studio set. What exactly are they restoring? You can visit the house which has already had extensive renovations, changed the location of the front door, changed the path and added a fence to keep site seers out. Theres nothing to restore.
