BREAKFASTS

Over the last few years I have developed problems with digesting Dairy. Then suffered from Urticaria  [cronic].      I found having trialed many things that Urticaria affected me when I ate fermented foods, so I stopped eating anything that was fermented.

It worked!  I gradually introduce some of the fermented foods after four years to see how they affect me.

I was wondering if anyone has this issue and what do they have for their Breakfasts.

Speaking with the previous GP she said it was attributed to stress.

The Dermotologist did not agree with her.  He said the best scientist of the world are puzzled with the problem.  I have found a couple of sites that have people suffering from Urticaria and wondered if it is affecting any Seniors?

I used to get hives (Urticaria) as a kid ... have no idea what triggered them then. Stopped when we left the farm. Diet didn't change so might have been the fact that because I didn't go to school I spent most of my days up close and personal with a big variety of farm animals plus hours hiding in the haystack!!

Regarding dairy-free breakfasts ... just so many of them out there.

Lots of yummy ideas here.

Thanks RnR

I also have 3 auto immune problems, as if I needed anything more.

The allergy specialist said that in my case it was another auto immune issue!  There seems to be a big arguement in the medical field about Urticaria.  I know the specialist was angry at the GP for I had my first outbreak as we approached my husbands 70th birthday and we celebrated going on a cruise and I wanted to remain home till the hives were sorted.  But she said it was nerves.  Later the Dermatologist said why didn't I come to him!  That I should not have gone on the cruise as the doctors there would not have been able to treat me in the middle of the ocean had I got hives in my throat! Great I thought and changed the GP.

Must admit the Allergy specialist said he only has treat children with this complaint when I first spoke to him!

How did you get the site address into the bulk of your email please?

Good luck with your conditions Ann ... interestingly, many of my digestive upsets totally disappeared after I had my gall bladder removed.

:) Hope you experience the same 'miraculous' results.

Re putting links in posts to YLC ... on my system.

1. Highlight the text you would like to refer to an outside link.

2. Click the link icon above input box you're typing in ... a dialogue box appears.

3. Copy the actual web address from the desired link address in the top of your browser bar.

4. Paste into dialogue box, choose whether you want in to Open in This Window or New Window (so the original page remains as a tab in the browser) ... click Insert.

On some systems you can skip all this hoo-haaa ... and just copy ’n paste the web address showing in your browser ... a simple copy 'n paste of the web address is all that's needed.

Yes that is what I am used to, not this hoo-haaa as you call it RnR.

I remember the days when we did not have a mouse and I remembered all the control and letters.

Reminds me when I did voluntary work for Care Australia, visiting two senior citizens and taking them shopping and popping in for a chat.    Care used to pay for our petrol and I called in to place my paper work, the secretary said 'Look at this' she had something in her hand and she explained it made the cursor move!!!    Whats it called I asked?   A mouse she said!  LOL
