Broccoli and Grape Salad
This is a lovely salad but go easy on the sugar ... I prefer to leave it out myself.

no problem Alexia...I am making tomorrow.
Now do you cook the broccoli first, or do you grate it?
eat broccoli raw..dont cook....cut into small floreats...it is a really lovely salad...well we think so anyway
Would never have thought of putting broccol and grapes together, sounds good.
My wife hates making salads, i don't, but am running out of ideas thanks.
I did not have MIracle whip last time I made it and used Heinz salad cream. I just use my commonsense re how much I use as I dont like too much dressing ...just enough to coat all the ingredients and i used about /2 teaspoon sugar and lemon juice in lieu of vinegar. It is all personal choice. Recipes are a guide only...you can tweak to personal taste.
Used cashews on top just as it was being served as well. Did not use bacon either as I had none.
Radish
Went to Woolies to buy some broccoli to find they were out of stock
....suppose it is all because of your recipe
think it would go well with grilled brocolli instead of fresh, and toasted garlic and italian seasoning
oh and achovies instead of bacon - yum
I grilled broccoli and caultiflower the other night with some crushed garlic, sprinkled olive oil on top, some dried crushed chilis (out of our garden which I had dried and blitzed in the blender) ...not a lot...just a sprinkle, a bit of salt and pepper if you want and once cooked drizzle some baslsamic vinegar over the veges.
