Clive Palmer and his shot deer

Ole Clive must be suffering from lack of media attention.

Now he reckons the Gold Coast City Council rangers got onto his property and shot a number of deer then sold the meat to restaurants at $40 a kg.

The whole saga is on his Facebook page and the Mayor has replied refuting the whole thing...

You gotta laugh at the shenanigans!

...saw a small article in the paper -  did not say - why they went onto his property in the first place?   Smacks of - "let's get Clive for something"????   Not laughing when innocent deers get shot?  Revolting!

According to the Mayor it did not happen Foxy!

Be interesting to see the final outcome of all this

Dunno? Was in today's paper? lol lol - must be a Murdoch paper as Barak accuses of constantly .... hahahahaaaaa..........

Having lived up here for years, I can't count the number of time Clive has come up with outlandish and at times downright wacky allegations. I think this is merely another one ... all attack with no real evidence. He's a master of it.

:) Wonder how his great Titanic project is going?

Probably the way of the Coolum resort ... sad. Only the golf course still going apparently.

The Palmer Resort at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast has become an embarrassing, rundown eyesore instead of a jewel in the state’s tourism crown.

Looks like plenty of food for the deer there.

R-nR the replica Titanic sunk long ago....that was all a pipe dream...never thought it would get off the ground myself.

dont care who it was,   or what it was about ,  but ANYONE found shooting the deer needs some buckshot up there own arse,    some people think that anything that moves is a target,

Deer are destructive feral animals in Victorian forests. They don't belong there. I support responsible hunting of them.

A wonderful post Barak.  Do you really mean that you are in favour of Council Rangers trespassing on private farming property & shooting the farmers' livestock in order to make a dollar from the local butchers?  Where did YOU decide that feral animals are to be shot by Council trespassers?  How do you feel about bees, doves, giraffes, elephants, bears, Koalas, wombats & the million other feral animals on our Earth?

BTW, is Clive Palmer's venison farm really a Victorian forrest?

Clive Palmer personally wrote on facebook:-

“Consultants and my employees observed them,” the embattled mining tycoon and ex-federal MP fumed on Facebook and Twitter.

“They (officers) removed the carcasses of at least 10 red deer from inside my property boundary and investigations have revealed they sold the meat from those animals to restaurants on the Gold Coast for up to $40 a kilogram."

What part of Palmers written words were incorrectly reported Barak?

Poor Dear.....take your pick as to which one..

Both need a sympathetic ear and media coverage to survive..

innes - my post is very brief. It is a post that explictly responds to the also short one from catsahoy immediately before it. Nothing mor.e Nothing less.

How the hell you got all the thoughts you got worked up about out of cat's and my posts is way beyond me.

Cats - Innes - agree totally with your "posts" !  Just nasty council rangers - taking matters into their own disgusting hands!!!

I have said for years -  it's  "Strangers that F**k ya day"   ..........and they are everywhere - everywhere! You can be minding your own business and someone - someone will "screw your day" .......  lol lol lol .............

BARAK,    you unfeeling ingrate,   i would like to put some buckshot up your arse,    bloody gun happy people,

ROTFLMAO Cats, that's the spirit!!

Ye har..Dems fightin' words....

Our cat has got her heckles up..

Hand that gal a musket...

LOL.

cats - describing me as part of the "bloody gun happy people" is possibly the least accurate statement ever made about me on this forums.

(Apart, of course, from almost anything innes has ever written about me.)

I believe that hunting should be allowed, but only of the various apes that I have had an opportunity to train & supply with suitable rifles & amunition.

BARAK,   i suppose you did a little dance when they decided to shoot the kangaroos from planes,   to cut down on the numbers,  or shoot the brumbies,    up north ,  i understand that some amimals do get overpopulated,    and numbers have to be brought under control,   but there are ways of doing this,    and the deer shot at clive palmers wasnt to cull them,    they will fully went onto the property and shot the deer,   for no other purpose than MONEY,     it was wrong,

cats - the post where I spoke of hunting included the words "I support responsible hunting..."

I spoke of hunting feral deer in Victoria. I have said nothing about hunting anywhere else.

Attack me for being slightly off-topic, if you must, but don't be so stupid as to think I am a supporter of all hunting.

YES.  you did use the words responsible hunting,   BUT you said NOTHING of the deer that wee shot,   all you said was  they were feral deer,     no suggestion of how or why they could be moved,   im utterely sick of people who think it is there right to shot something ,  just because they can,
