Clothes falling off coat hangers

I am sick of clothing that is slippery and keeps falling off my coat hangers.

Tried putting elastic bands around the ends of hangers...that was useless. Was thinking of buying some of those velvet covered hangers but found out they were useless so did not purchase.

Ended up using plastic pegs and pegging the neckline closest to the hook part of the hanger....finally  the clothes are staying put!

The velvet ones work for me but only for soft materials..

These are good for pants and skirts..

and I stitch tiny loops into some garments and use groved hangers...

Correction: "grooved" hangers

Thea I am fed up with my clothing that has those loops I have started to cut them off.

I like the crochet hangers personally.

Went to one of the Savvy shops yesterday and they sell covered hangers for $1 each

i've found with cheap covered hangers that the covers don't last long.

i also like to use an ordinary laundry peg to hold the garment firmly on the hanger.  quick and easy.

Like you Kika, I find that is what works for me is pegs...the sods cannot fall off when they are held like that LOL.

You could also try a blob of hot melt glue on the ends of the hanger.

That is very annoying, i put rubber bands around each end of the hanger. Another hint i just tried out last weekend, i now roll my pants and tops up in my suitcase, saved room and the garments dont crease up
