Hi Yvonny, I'm sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I also have Coeliac disease and I'd be happy to discuss anything with you. Send me an email if you see my reply. I'm also sorry that no one else cares enough to post a reply even....It seems we are even more isolated!!

Perhaps you may be able to enlighten us

What is Coeliac disease and how do you know if you have it ?

My daughter has been diagnosed as coeliac after a long period of illness.

She is having trouble with miscarriages and at the moment we are keeping

our fingers crossed for this time.

It is more damaging than people realise, I am just beginning to speak with

people  who have had long term problems. It apparently affects different

people in different ways.

She is now a member of the Coeliac society and is getting information from

them. This disease is only recently being widely recognised, I believe.

Seggie here. Ibis1315, I sent a private message to Yvonny re coeliac problems. Sometimes this happens and you may think no one has answered but I did. So Coeliac is caused by white flour upsetting one.  Also many Coeliacs have other problems such as Fructose malabsorption, etc. and often is found with a gastroscopy or what I call 'the breath test'. The Coeliac Association is wonderful and once you join, you get a card and can get a discount on items purchased at certain supermarkets. The internet too is wonderful and there are cafes, restaurants, etc. where you can eat to your heart's content knowing there will be no ill effects.  So please don't think people don't care. It's just that we sometimes send a private answer. Love to all.
