    Dear Fleur ,

    In passing you mention that your new husband is both Jewish and conservative  ,

    I have several Jewish friends who are concerned about the new Palestinian tilt of the Labor. Party. 

    Could you PM me with contact details of your husband as my friends are concerned about the racist attitudes of the CFMEU and their spending of 30 millillion on anti conservative values .. 

    We need to counter this with true conservative values being all men are equal . 

    I am sure your husband would agree and we wish to assist him to speak out .

    Well ..well…just thought I’d peek in and discovered in my absence….I’ve become quite famous!! A whole thread devoted entirely to me!! I’m flattered…Pete I see you are posing a political question to my husband. Well…in a nutshell…my husband would not waste one second of his time with you…I think he would much rather have a conversation with a goanna…not only would it would be more interesting…more astute…and have more writing skills…when the “conversation” is over he can put the goanna back under the rock from whence it came!!

    Have to ask the question though…why is your thread in the Grandkids Corner…would it not be more at home in the Political section? By the way…it might interest and surprise you to know that many “conservatives” even though some of them may be Jewish… are none too happy by some actions taken by Israel against the Palestinians and support them in their struggle. So…you certainly won’t get an audience with my husband or I on that topic.

    Cairns is beautiful this time of year…have a holiday!

    Did you find any Cranky?  LOL I have had a wonderful two days as  it is book week and my two youngest grandchildren had grandparents day at their individual schools. Pleased to hear my 6 year old grandson protest when i bought him two books at the book fair instead of the obligatory one, nice to know he was concerned that Nanny might be  using all her money.. lol The books were a measly $25.00 and yes he got both.. Today i went to his older sisters college,she is 11 and was really pleased to hear her say” no Nanny “when i offered to shout her lunch from the school canteen, when i asked why not? I was told that i did not have to buy lunch as she had packed me a school lunch to save me money..lol So nice to be with children that are not greedy, Nevertheless we ate the sandwiches then splurged on icecreams and dessert at the tuckshop..then she also scored a couple of newbooks just for not being greedy.Love being a Nanna.

    Thank you Seth it is nice to get a voice of reason .

    i was pruely trying to get a little support of us right wingers from Fleur who tells us her hubby is a conservative member. And also Jewish .As the labor party at its recent anal conference voted to support the Palestinians I was looking for support .8
