Discussing a couple of things with such a clever group. :)

My Heart Specialist said on Friday there is another competitor in the mix other than Pradaxa and Warfarin so that is why Pradaxa have kept those of us getting it free on the trial because of lobbying to get it on the PBS. Good news.

My Prescription from Chemist Warehouse was $25 - great.  Previously I paid $35 at my normal Chemist  and exactly the same prescriptions what a variance.

Anyone? especially kfcHugo Why does Soy Sauce only last a month once opened? I thought salt was a great thing to use to keep bacteria at bay and sanitize almost anything, SO why does very salty Soy Sauce last such a short time opened and in the fridge.? We do not use a lot so throw heaps out wasting it when it still looks o.k.  but what to do? The small bottle is the same price as the big one at Aldi.

Thanks.

Phyl hate to tell you this, it hasn't gone off, it's just how it tastes.

Hmm and this coming from a dedicated raw onion eater.........................

Mrs. Seth is a real saint.

Because it says on the bottle use within  30 days of opening I thought it must go off but as KFC says it does not go off but apparently (not hassled about this at all) the flavour is not quite as good. We thought it might be off so always chucked it :) after little over the month of opening and it also says Keep refrigerated after opening.

Thanks for the replies folks. We are always learning.  Still love Aldi.

This "use by" date on every is silly.

Many items never go off but still have to have a date.

Yes so that you throw them out and replace them

I think Aldi has the best chocolate and ice cream. I limit myself so like good quality when indulging. Their prices are reasonable too. Any furniture items and electrical good purchased from Aldi have given me good service.

Seggie. Phyl. and all of our friends, no laughing now but an Asian man told me that you can actually freeze soy sauce in cubes. Seems they did it overseas when only one house near them had a freezer. We freeze soup, tomato paste, etc. so maybe this will work. Love to all.
