If an elderly lady moves to a nursing home and her 55 yo daughter has been a live in carer for over 2 years will the daughter be forced to evacuate the house to sell it once she stops receiving her carers' pension or gets another job?

That might depend on what authority you have regarding your mother's financial affairs. I suggest your first stop should be with your Centrelink office and Citizen's Advice Bureau. Good luck.
