Drink a beer, save a legend

The Wilderness Society has teamed up with Moo Brew, one of Australia’s most awarded craft breweries, to create a beer that stops extinction.

All profits from the sale of Giant Lobster Ale go towards protecting the home of the endangered Tasmanian Giant Freshwater Lobster - whose forest home is threatened by logging.

Giant Lobster Ale is a cool, fermented ale that’s well-balanced and easy drinking, with a touch of bitterness and a toasty aroma that is brewed in Tasmania.

The campaign to protect the Giant Lobster’s home has already had a massive victory - convincing Federal Environment Minister Josh Frydenberg to sign the Lobster Recovery Plan.

The Wilderness Society is keeping the pressure on the Tasmanian Government to put this plan into action.

You can help by sending Tasmania’s Premier, Will Hodgman, a message today.

Have you ever seen Tasmania’s Giant Freshwater Lobster? What lengths should we go to to protect the lobster?

The first video is funny, the second is just eye-opening – really makes you marvel at the cost of our backwards thinking
