Easy (and free) Exercises for Seniors

  1. get dressed in the morning as per usual;

  2. take off your shoes, socks, trousers and underpants;

  3. put these on again;

  4. take them off again;

  5. repeat three times

 then,

  1. go to the toilet as per usual;

  2. when completely finished, stand up;

  3. sit down;

  4. stand and sit ten times;

  5. now you can pull up your pants.

your morning workout is now finished – time for morning tea and a well-earned rest.

you'll save lots of money not going to the gym or exercise classes and you'll be very fit. it may be a good idea not to make any early morning appointments.

good luck!

May I suggest that after the first 5 exercises you may not want to go to the loo as it is too late ... so just continue with the dressing and undressing ....

then visit the laundry to wash the soiled clothing

I go to the toilet before I get dressed.

Kika you definitely need the gym.

I have no need of morning exersize , You should see my dreams..I travel the world and never lay still..

I get up to have a rest...lol

Exercise at any age is most important.  As my 88yr old client Barb often likes to remind me "We either move it - OR WE LOSE IT!"

Thanks Abby - and thanks Thea, for having me!   Just thought I'd put myself out there.  This looks like a nice relevant site for throwing one's ten bob worth in.

Oh, and for plugging the blog a bit more....   dolliedogood.blogspot.com.au

Have a nice day!

Dollie -   Thank you for a wonderful site. I had a great laugh.  Look forward to reading more.

Cheers !!

Tis a pleasure, Hola - glad it gave you a giggle.  A sense of humour definitely compulsory when you work in Aged Care!
