An elderly tourist got more than she bargained for when she posed for a photo on a slab of ice on a beach in Iceland.

The woman’s granddaughter shared a series of photos online showing her grandmother posing for photos at Diamond Beach when a chunk of ice she was resting on broke away and began drifting away.

The woman was rescued by a boat captain who was in the area at the time.
