Eldest siblings smarter than younger siblings: study
Researchers at the Universities of Houston, New South Wales and Sheffield have found that eldest siblings are more likely to be smarter than their younger siblings.
The study may even show that the more older brothers and sisters you have, the less intelligent you’re likely to be, and that older siblings are more confident in their intelligence, with the younger more likely to lack confidence in their scholastic abilities.
“Latter-born children perform worse on cognitive assessments from a very early age, well before they enter school,” the researchers note.
To reach their conclusions, the researchers studied results from over 5000 children whose reading and picture vocabularies were assessed every two years until they reached the age of 14.

Do you agree with, or would you take any notice of, this finding? Are you the youngest or eldest sibling in your family?
Wow - just wow!
Is it strange, or wrong, that somehow I feel left out because I haven't been accused of being someone else. Well not for some time anyway. I think I was once accused of being you Micha.
I'll play. Let's see, if I was someone else, who would it be? I kinda like Robi and Foxy, maybe I could be one of them. If they're not available, maybe I could be Suze, or Catsahoy - what ya all think? Don't think I could fill Big Val's shoes. Maybe I'm really PlanB (ok PB you and I know I'm not, but allow me my fun.) :)
Oh of course I don't actually have to be female, I could be Adrianus couldn't I? Uummhh, probably not.
Do, do, do, do ... I feel the Twilight Zone calling me.
