Eleven types of biscuits recalled from supermarkets



Food Standards Australia (FSA) has issued two product recalls for biscuit brands due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (milk).

The two affected biscuit brands are Lauria Specialty Sweets Biscuit Products and Shelby's Healthy Hedonism Cookies and covers 11 different biscuit types.

Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if these products are consumed.

Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume these products and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.

The Lauria recall covers nine different biscuits. These are:

  • Lauria Specialty Sweets Chocolate Almond Horseshoe 190g

  • Lauria Specialty Sweets Chocolate Almond Bread 150g

  • Lauria Specialty Sweets White Chocolate Almond Bread 150g

  • \t
  • Lauria Specialty Sweets Chocolate Shortbread 190g

  • \t
  • Lauria Specialty Sweets Double Choc Bliss 190g

  • \t
  • Lauria Specialty Sweets Honeycomb & Caramel Bliss 190g

  • \t
  • Lauria Specialty Sweets Strawberry & Cream Bliss 190g


All of these products have best before dates up to and including 22/9/2021.

These products had been available for sale at independent food retailers, including IGAs in Qld, NSW, ACT, Vic, Tas, SA and WA.

The Shelby's recall applies to Shelby's Healthy Hedonism Chocolate Chip Cookies 120g
and Double Choc Hazelnut Cookies 120g.

These products had been available for sale at independent food retailers including IGAs in NSW, ACT, Qld, Vic and SA, Woolworths nationally and online.
