Do not think I would be brave enough to do this....

The lion sleeps with us tonight! Couple who rescued a BIG CAT from the circus reveal the 250kg beast lounges around their home... and even shares their bed

Spanish couple keep lion as a house pet and share a bed

This couple has caused shocked waves online with their 550-lb pet lion called Simba. The hulking male cat was rescued from a life in the circus by a loving couple called Mada and Eloy. He is 1 year and 7 months old. The pair, from Sant Jaume de Llierca near Olot in Catalonia, Spain, turned their garden into an enclosure for the huge animal. And terrifyingly, they revealed that the lion even sleeps with them.

Stupid people, they might end up as  breakfast in bed, if the lion gets very hungry.

Hola

Many a woman is found dead sleeping with a man ..not too many reports of death causedfrom sleeping with a lion ..but must agree definitely should be well fed.

Warning to pregnant women, don't use antibacterial soap! Chemicals in the products can make children fat and disrupt their development

Researchers at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, California, said everyday exposure could also lead to 'irreversible' damage in vital organs.

Thats British Justice for you!!!!!!!

Couple trying to evict their own tenant are forced to give him cheap rent for LIFE in the £310,000 home after his lawyer uses a little-known 1925 law Couple forced to give tenant cheap rent for LIFE

David and Sheila Harding wanted to evict Colin Gregory from a house in East Sussex but the court instead ruled that they should give him cheap rent for life, citing a 92-year-old law. The Hardings took him to the county court to get possession of the £310,000 home in Peacehaven, East Sussex. But they were astonished when Mr Gregory's lawyer successfully used a law dating from 1925. Moreover, the judge ordered Mr Gregory to be given a 90-year lease - and the Hardings cannot increase the rent above the current £800 a month. The pair were refused permission to appeal and fear the lease could even be passed on to his relatives when he dies.

That's dreadful and also ridiculous.

As a child my late father was in a similar position. We lived here in WA his parents died and being an only child he had to go back to the UK to sort out the estate. Only to find he could not get rid of tenants till new Legislation was put in place. We were there five years.

Former Army chief warns Malcolm Turnbull against 'bloody ugly' war with Kim Jong-un http://a.msn.com/01/en-au/AApTSXu?ocid=se

I bet Turnbull Abbott and the lot of them would not be so bloody keen if it was THEM that had to roll up and fight -- not on your nelly -- same goes for Trump and that other fat little scum bag,  OK to send in others to do your dirty work,  that goes for Howard and Bush too -- very keen to go to war but reneged on doing time in the military themselves

So true Plan B....

I think that goes for all politicians too.

In the good ole days at least Kings went into their bloody battles with their troops.

Richard III was the last king of England to do that.

I think the government should start up National Service again. There is nothing like being prepared. The training would get young people into a trade which could help them get a job when they left the services.

National Service is OK (perhaps) until your own kids or grandkids are called up in conscription ballots through no fault/inclination themselves ... to go and serve on some godforsaken overseas post killing an 'enemy as designated by another country or treaty' or the enemy's kids and family.

Think I would prefer a trades appenticeship for my grandkids without the killing/National Service element.

Being prepared ... leave it to normal ADF recruitment processes please.

RnR - I asked some young fellows, 3 to be exact, if it came to being called up for National Service would they be prepared to defend their country. Only one said "Yes".

I agree Hola

It would keep a lot of young ones off the street until they matured

Yes I agree Hola, I think we can see line of before and after in society when this National Service was stopped.

I think it was stopped in and around 1970?

From then onwards we seem to have a problem in our society.

Driver says an 'angel' protected him when a driveshaft smashed through his windshield and narrowly missed him - and does this photo taken at the scene prove it?

Steve Montgomery, 56, was driving home from a painting job on Tuesday when a truck driveshaft flew up from Interstate 55 near Imperial, Missouri and struck right at the driver's side headrest

I missed out on Nashos. I was a year too young when it ceased in '59 and a year or so too old when it started again in '65.

Never did any time in the military.

Hubby did 6 years in the civil war in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe.  Not nice. He keeps quiet about it.
