Is this what they call "blind faith"

Absolutely  !!

In times like these we get scammers and people with "beliefs" come out of the wood work. Need to stay vigilant and if it's too good to be true it's usually not.

Greek Orthodox churches across Australia will allow congregations of hundreds of people to sip wine from the same spoon during mass because "the holy cup cannot carry disease," the Archdiocese said.

Victory Life Centre, which is a non-denominational Christian church in Perth founded by Margaret Court, also believes its faith will protect its congregation. "We are praying daily for you, knowing that we are all protected by the Blood of Jesus," the statement said.

As I said originally on this thread ... mad IMO. I'll now add dangerous for the wider community.

RnR - I think Margret Court has insulted enough people.

Idiot religioturds! Perhaps Nat Selection will get a chance to winnow out a few!

Do we really care if COVID-19 or any other virus for that matter thins out the fantacists who cause the rest of us sensible people a lot of problems. Are they dangerous? - definitely, in more ways than one.

The trouble is they also mix with sensible people -- Hardworker

Let the Darwinian theory (survival of the fitest) run its course. If Jim Jones can convince good people to poison their children and then themselves their is no limit what some people will believe.

I beg to differ Skinner. The Anglican church has got it right - looking at broadcasting their sermons to the religious (faithful) in their own homes on their own computers. So beat that!

If you think Nat Selection (whatever that means as I'm not a text nerd) will winnow out a few of the failthful then you've got that wrong too. God will save the faithful and, like Gough Whitlam's speech (edited) Nothing will save the unfaithful.

Well said..and may I say also..

You do not need "Atheism and Agnosticism" to have morals either. Everyone is in the same boat, regardless of what you believe in.

I disagree with the Greek Church however, time to ban the "holy cup.

Morrison has just banned the gathering of groups larger than 100. Does that mean large church congregations?
