Thanks Dave

The section on house sitting came in useful for my nephew - just the thing he was looking for.

Thanks for the read, Davey.

I read a linked blog by a fellow who is a very spry 75 year old if I read correctly.  He toured Oz in a small Toyota van he converted. Gets out, walks big hills and posts his own candid shots too.  Then he did an overseas trip.  Good on that man!

There are several women also who despite age, health problems and being on the pension, are doing it solo.  The odd sad post about another who died doing what she loved.  Only then did it come out how she had a terminal illness.  Courageous and selfless.

What a host of good examples they are on how to live and enjoy the final chapter.  They rewrite what 'old' means.  But who is listening?

It is not a site I would link to but a damned good read nonetheless.  Thanks again.  Always interested in sites people find enjoyable.

Gee I would like to do more traveling  but after three car accidents I can't walk very well

In the first accident the young 21 year old bloke who caused it killed his 17 year old girl friend and I ended up with a broken ankle, and it was set wrong

In the second accident a young 16 old girl didn't observe the new speed sign hit a trailer I was standing next to  I ended up on the gas bottle of a barbque, nothing broken but with a damaged leg

IN the third accident my Uncle ran over me in his back yard another damaged leg so now I am down to a hobble, thank god for my gopher
