Lib Clown Christensen Makes a Fool of Himself

Without any information at all, George blamed “radical Islam” for the attack on Merrylands Police Station on Thursday night.

Turns out it was a non-Muslim, Czech national with a reported history of mental health issues.

I would call it foot-in-mouth, except for the fact that George's shape would make that impossible.

Not a pleasant person nor a very bright person.

" And this is what the Queensland Nationals MP George Christensen said on Facebook before the facts of the Merrylands police station attack on Thursday night were even known: "I wonder how quickly some idiot is going to inanely say this has nothing to do with Islam or talk about a religion of peace or blame those who oppose radical Islam or even Australia as a whole for marginalising some 'disaffected youth'." "

Well  at least he was on the money about some idiot but didn,t realise it was himself.

It's precisely this random approach of idiots blaming Muslims for problems they didn't cause that leads to some Muslim youth feeling the world hates them, and wanting to hit back.

Can't stand Christensen. Would be good if there was some sort of intelligence test for people wanting to enter politics requiring high standard intellect.

I guess it would it be too much to ask for just a tiny bit of compassion as well.

... probably be no one in politics if they had to take an intelligence test!   :-) :-)

Mr Christensen, a conservative MP for the Queensland seat of Dawson, who has made a range of anti-Islam comments in the past, took to Facebook in the immediate aftermath of the incident to declare it a "failed terror attack", while also appearing to condemning Islam itself as well as Australia's response to terrorism.

"The same police station had received terror threats by radical Islamists last year," Mr Christensen began.

"I wonder how quickly some idiot is going to inanely say this has nothing to do with Islam or talk about a religion of peace or blame those who oppose radical Islam or even Australia as a whole for marginalising some 'disaffected youth'." he added  link

George Christensen is in my electorate. At the recent election there were 7 candidates. On my ballot paper Mr Christensen got #7 spot.
Sadly he is an extremist and in my opinion extremists have no place in our society.

It seems that also sadly a lot of people voted FOR him. Are your neighbours stupid?

Barak

He gets the Nationals vote rather than a personal vote would be my assessment. Like Bernardi as a lib but easier being a senator, needs less of a vote.

He lost 4.2% of his margin so maybe Dawson voters will be able to get rid of him in 2019.
