...being a member of Animals Australia - they sent me a video of Cows being killed strung up with rope - upside down  - whilst struggling and crying out - their throats slashed whilst they were still alive!!!  - in the most hideous way!

I could not watch it!   I have seen so many and you get to the stage you think - this cannot be any worse for these dear dear animals - but - it is - and the video's are!  :(

i cannot watch anymore FOXY,    it upsets me to much,    i have to switch off,     in this day and age where they can send a man to the moon,    walk in space,   dont tell me its to hard to have refrigeration in these ports that the meat is sent to,    the cost would be minimal in comparison to the suffering of these animals,,      it MUST be stopped,   and its a slur on this government that it has gone on for this long,  

The last government that tried to stop this was voted out, the issue was actually used against them as an election issue.  No chance that this government will put animal cruelty issues  above profit.

I used to live in Fremantle and used to hate the day all the trucks came into the port to off load their load onto the ships.  It made the whole town stink.

I thought this had been stopped?????

I watched them coming in by the truckload in January stinking hot day to packed be in those loriries then off loaded into the big sheep carriers - poor animals must be petrified. Nothing has changed. 

Crocodile tears from you  Brocky, the same poor you deny the right of penalty rates to be able to feed and clothe their children - cynically  would say you care more about profits than the rights of the "poor".
