It's rare for NASA to call a press conference, normally opting to release discoveries direct to public as soon as possible. But when you find a solar system with seven planetary bodies with three in the habitable zone, it is worthy of a press conference and large unveiling. 

The TRAPPIST-1 system is located just 40 light years away from our own and the planets show the signs of potentially having liquid water.
