Need to Feel More Secure at Home and When Shopping?

If you are looking to feel more secure at home and don't need to spend money on a monitored service check our the Emergency SMS and alarm feature on the  Doro PhoneEasy 615 mobile phone.

You press a button, the phone makes an alarm sound, then it SMS's up to 5 people with your emergency message..e.g. "Andrew has activated the emergency call button on his mobile, he needs urgent assistance". The phone automatically dials those 5 numbers until the call is answered. One of the programmed numbers can be emergency services.

You can find a review of the phone on this website under Technology>Mobile Phones.

Your Life Choices Review of Doro PhoneEasy 615

http://www.yourlifechoices.com.au/news/drew-reviews-the-doro-phoneeasy-615

Attention Drew

Any hope of getting rid of the advertising posing as comment, please ?

The'recent posts' are swamped.

Koko, if you go to Technology and then click on Mobile Phones you will see Drew there giving you the information on this particular phone.  They are also running a competition with eleven phones to be won by Life Choices members.

Thanks for that, but frankly am not impressed with such posts crowding out other discussion.

If the info is elsewhere on the website, why does it need to be displayed ad infinitum here on the forum.

I'm not interested in buying a phone and resent it being passed off as a legitimate forum subject.

Hi Koko & Toot2000

Appologies for any inconvenience you feel you have experienced.

Loneliness and insecurity are key problems for many seniors who live alone. These feelings can have a direct bearing on their health too I understand.

If we can help just a tiny bit to aleviate loneliness and insecurity for just one person Id be glad.

cheers Andrew

It was late at night when I made this post. Perhaps it would have been better to pose it as a question Ill do that.

What tips or tools can you recommend to someone who is looking for ways to feel safer and more secure when out and about? They might be concerned about things like a medical emergency or personal security walking back from the local store. This is especially relevant to people who live alone.

Emergency SMS and alarm feature on the  Doro PhoneEasy 615 mobile phone sound like a good idea
