Tend to agree with you Deanna, great sports fan myself and enjoy players with passion and personality, spice to them, but rudeness is another matter. Call me old fashioned too. Young kids look up to these sporting stars and when they see them behaving this way,makes them think it's ok. 

I used to LOVE tennis, both playing and watching but I rarely bother with it anymore. Exciting if watching a match live from the stands but seems like groundhogs day watching match after match, year after year on telly. Apart from the Davis Cup the players are not really representing their countries. They are playing for themselves, chasing fame and fortune. When some fame (in any area) is achieved some people seem to feel entitled to be brats. It has probably always been that way.

IMO the play Tennis / swim / what ever -- because thats what they choose to do, just because they are in the spot light does NOT mean they are any better than many others that work hard and do good,  what about the Drs etc etc that do GOOD and get no where near the money or the recognition that these sports people get

Most sport these days is about big business making money and the foolhardy sitting in armchairs watching it.

We have two very promising tennis players with bad manners.  They need to be severely punished for their unsportsmanlike behaviour.  They are doing themselves more harm than anyone else.  If you are good enough you will win, if you don't win no sour grapes, work harder. 

When a sports person is representing their county they should bear that in mind.

These shenanigans we are currently witnessing is not a good look at all and only gives ammunition to those who think we are a mob of loud mouthed yobbos.

Gawking at sport in like watching a porno movie....you see somebody else having a good time. 

GET OUT THERE AND DO IT....................ANYTHING AT ALL.
