He got what he deserved, people don't realise that these animals go through hours of torture during these shows and the brave Matadore usualy delivers the killing blow once the animal is so weak from loss of blood it can hardly stand up. By the time the heroes on horseback have finnished, the Bulls can't even lift their heads to see what they are defending themselves from.
Take away the Picadors I say and see how brave these fools are then.

Having sat through a bullfight in Spain in 1969 (and no wish to ever see again) I think it is a very barbaric (sport???) thing.

No Beast should be tortuted like that, the real animals are the Matadors, Picadors but mostly the onlookers who get a thrill out of watching the baiting of bulls like this, and keep the torture going. Absolute cruelty.
I couldn't sit through a bullfight, it's disgusting and should be banned and it was banned until last year but the Spanish government overturned it, saying it was unconstitutional and part of Spanish heritage.
It was was banned in Catalonia in 2010 on the grounds that it was incompatible with Catalan tradition.
So the agony will continue.

Foxy, I'm sure most of us feel the same way. Never could I pay to watch someone torture an animal. It's barbaric.
